Street art in Berlin.

Berlin's street art culture is very rich, and very fun.

Around the corner from the place we stayed was this cool place.

And this cute building. 

I like the mixture of styles in this piece, with the big paintbrush. cuties.

So many this all over europe in support of the release of Ai Wei Wei. If you dont know whats happened, I suggest you read up on it, its fairly shocking. 

The east side gallery is the longest preserved section of the berlin wall. Its 1.3km now of street art. In 1990 over 100 artists were invited to use the wall to create political art works. Some worked well, others not so much, and in 2009 the original artists came back to restore the pieces. Its a good walk, even though it was so hot when we went.

This is probably the most famous piece on the wall. Very interesting.

So many different styles of art. 3D and stencils look cool next to each other. 

Huge murals on the sides o buildings make them more interesting.

But the small finds are fun as well.
