Berlin

So from the 8th til the 14th of June we were in Berlin. What a city, so much history with not much on show, as you know, it was bombed and stuff. But its moved on with great architecture, funky shops and cheap good food. I will miss the 2,50 euro noodles. yum.

Our apartment was right in the Mitte, central Berlin on the east side, very awesome area. The apartment was massive, and modern and awesome. But my bed was the couch, and it seemed to be permanently heated at night..

Then there was this gate thing. I dont remember what its called, like most things.

But I met yoda, he's german.

We went on a hop on hop off bus tour thing. So here are a lot of sights with no names. Because I'm lazy and wont look them up.

Berlin Wall.

Mum and I do good cocktail times.

She still wasnt very well in berlin, seeing a doctor again, but she didnt let it stop her!

Dad got his pork knuckle... and then an angry pork knuckle stomach ache from eating it all.

I wanted german sausages... these werent that great...

Beer bike!

We went and saw SOAP at a small cute little theater which was very entertaining!  And we got the cocktail, which came with a rubber ducky. 

Beer bus in the rain, they kept on singing!

we went on a boat cruise of the canal, which was nice, had a few cokes and dad a beer or too.

Then lunch in a beer garten near the canal.

Yummy fooood. With dumpling in a napkin... haha

Bald spot in the tier garten. We went for a nice long walk through here, to reach a monument that ended up being covered up for renovations...
