Its pretty nice in Nice.

For the last few days we have been staying in a little villa in Nice.
The place is beautiful. Good rooms, old style furniture and decorations, great view.

I even have my own room!

The view from my room. Mums was better, but I liked it.

Just down the road is the port. Lots of biiig boats. Nice little area.

Poor mumma has been really sick. Not only with the flu, but also with ear infection and conjunctivitis, worst of all losing her sense of taste for awhile. Not even chocolate could help. But we have seen a doctor and now she is hopefully on the mend!

Our first day was rainy and overcast.... just you know, like Nice would be in the summer... haha

We went to a market which was very nice.

Lots of good fresh produce. Just look at those tomatoes and garlic.

Mini canoli things.

It went on for a very long time.

We stopped for lunch at a restaurant recommended to us by the lady who owns this place.

Dad got grande biere, so he was happy.

I had risotto with scallops. Very nice.

Mum was very upset, as she couldnt taste her gnocchi (I could... it was pretty nice)

Dad had the local meat dish which was very tasty. Daube boeuf or something.

And then it bucketed down.

It was insane. Huge thunderstorm that went on for hours.

The next day it had cleared up!

We went on a hop on hop off bus tour, which was great to be able to see the different areas.

Mum and I did a little shopping while dad went and walked to some monuments or something.

Modern Art gallery.

We then walked up a mountain to meet dad.

It was a big mountain.

But the view was pretty.

I liked Nice, it is a pretty laid back place.

After seeing a doctor for mumma, and dad doing the washing, we just had some baguette and meats n stuff for dinner, yummy.
